Ettore Sottsass Halo Click 2 Lamp

Designed by Ettore Sottsass for Philips in 1988, the Halo Click 2 is a rare example of late-1980s postmodern lighting.

Produced in Holland, the lamp combines Sottsass’ sculptural design language with Philips’ innovative halogen technology of the period.

Finished in a dark grey, almost black rubberized coating over metal and plastic, the lamp has a compact architectural silhouette and a fully adjustable shade that can be positioned in multiple directions.

The Halo Click 2 was produced primarily for the Dutch market and is considered one of the harder-to-find Philips designs associated with Sottsass.

Vintage, very good condition.
