Rare Czech Art Glass Ashtray, Josef Hospodka for Chřibská Glassworks, 1950s
A vivid example of Czech postwar glass artistry, this sculptural ashtray was designed by Josef Hospodka for Chřibská in the 1950s.
Hand - blown and cased in clear crystal, it contains layered waves of color - rose, citrus yellow, and deep aqua - suspended within its heavy, fluid form.
Vintage, very good condition, minor scratches.
